For families
How does the Assessment work?
The Assessment asks a few questions to suggest directions worth exploring. It does not diagnose, score, or classify your child — the results are starting points to try, not conclusions.
Why doesn’t RungMark show match percentages?
A percentage would imply a certainty RungMark doesn’t have. Instead of a match score, RungMark surfaces possibilities and explains why something is suggested, so you can decide what’s worth trying.
Can I add an activity that isn’t listed on RungMark?
Yes. You can add your own experiences in Growth Navigator even when the activity isn’t a RungMark listing, so your child’s real history stays complete.
What happens if my child stops an activity?
Stopping is useful information, not a failure. Ruling something out is part of exploring, and it helps point toward what might be worth trying next.
How do Career Missions work?
A Career Mission is a short, hands-on simulation of part of a real job. It’s not a career-fit test — it’s a way to try the kind of work and reflect on what you noticed.
Can a teen use RungMark without choosing a career?
Yes. Career Explorer is about trying things and noticing what’s interesting. There’s no requirement to pick a career, and there’s no career score or personality label.
For providers
How do provider profiles work?
Providers can create a profile with their organization, locations and activities so families can discover them. The public provider profile has its own public page; the provider dashboard where they manage details is separate.
What does Claimed mean?
Claimed means a provider has taken ownership of their listing so they can keep its details up to date. It is not a quality or safety rating.
What does Verified mean?
Verified means specific provider information has been reviewed. It applies only to that reviewed information and is not a guarantee of quality or safety.
How do I report incorrect provider information?
Use the contact form below and choose “Incorrect listing”. Include the provider or organization name so we can find the right listing.
Privacy & safety
Can providers see my Growth Navigator?
No. Growth Navigator reflections are private to your family. Providers do not receive Growth reflections or Career Mission responses.
